Batesville, IN — The Batesville Parks and Recreation Department is accepting donations to be used for the purchase of new picnic tables and park benches to be placed out at Liberty Park. Both will be made from recycled materials with guarantees to last for at least 50 years.
The tables will be placed under the new FCN Bank shelter near the playground, is accessible from a sidewalk, and has poured concrete under and around the shelter. The park benches will be placed throughout Liberty Park, some going to new spots, and some replacing older benches.
