Heavy rains expected this week

Southeastern, IN — The National Weather Service says moisture from Hurricane Zeta remnants will combine with a low-pressure system to cause periods of heavy rain this week. This rain may result in flooding. Estimates of 2 to 4” of rain are currently predicted for the southeastern Indiana area today through Thursday with the heaviest rainfall coming Wednesday night. This could cause flooding in low-lying areas. Remember to turn around, don’t drown.
