(Batesville, IN) – The City of Batesville has a new Fire Chief.
Brian Hardebeck has been appointed to lead Batesville Fire and Rescue.
Hardebeck has served as the department’s Assistant Chief for several years.
He succeeds Todd Schutte, who is retiring after 30 years with the department, the last 23 of which he spent as Fire Chief.
“I am happy to welcome Brian Hardebeck as our new Fire Chief,” said Mayor John Irrgang. “I have every confidence that he will lead our Fire Department with distinction and serve the City of Batesville honorably.”
