DECATUR COUNTY, Ind. — A Greensburg woman was arrested on multiple drug-related charges.
Police say Dawn Elliot, 40, was arrested on the charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Syringe.
According to police, they observed Elliot throw something in a trash can. The officer opened the trash can and found a syringe inside, which was the only thing in the can.
The officer confronted Elliot about the Syringe, and police say she denied any knowledge of it. After detaining her, the officer pointed a camera out to Elliot and again asked her about the syringe.
According to police Elliot said a friend asked her to dispose of it. The syringe tested positive for methamphetamine.
