GREENSBURG, IN — A 39-year-old Greensburg man accused in a two-and-a-half-year-old murder case has changed his plea.

Adam Naderman was arrested by Greensburg Police in October 2019 in connection with the killing of his father.

Seventy-three-year-old Albert Naderman (pictured) was found dead in his home on the 1600 block of North Tyrel Avenue West on October 17, 2019.

Adam Naderman was arrested and charged several days later.

Naderman, his attorney Mark Jones, and Decatur County Prosecutor Nate Harter appeared at a change of plea hearing last week before Judge Matthew Bailey, in which Naderman asked to change his plea from Not Guilty to one felony count of Murder to Guilty But Mentally Ill.

The plea change, which the judge took under advisement, will be considered at a sentencing hearing scheduled for February 21 at 2:30 pm in Decatur Superior Court.
