Decatur County, IN — A 35-year-old Greensburg man has been acquitted on two counts of Child Exploitation (Level 5 felony).
Eric Klosterkemper was charged in May 2021 following a Decatur County Sheriff’s Office investigation involving the possession of child pornography.
A jury in Decatur Superior Court found Klosterkemper not guilty on both counts.
Court documents indicate Special Judge Jeffery Sharp of Ripley County ordered Klosterkemper’s cell phone to be returned to him, and all other evidence destroyed.
The state was represented at trial by Decatur County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Doug Brown, who issued the following statement:
“I was proud of the alleged victims for their courage in testifying and disappointed with the outcome.”
