GREENSBURG, Ind. — The Greensburg Fire Department battled a large garage fire Saturday afternoon.
According to officials, crews responded to the Mill Ridge Estates around 1:00 PM.
When firefighters arrived on scene, flames were visible.
Officials say the homeowner was the only person home and was safe.
Crews were able to keep the fire contained to the garage; however, the garage and its contents were a total loss.
It is believed the homeowner’s lawn mower started the fire after he finished mowing the lawn.
No injuries were reported.
