Grace Mae (Owens) Robbins, a lifelong resident of Greensburg, passed away at home on Saturday, May 2, 2020 with her daughter and son in law by her side.
Grace was born on September 04, 1927, the daughter of Ora and Stella (Lee) Owens of Greensburg, Indiana and was married to Thomas (Gene) Robbins on December 31, 1945 with whom she had 5 children. Grace and Gene were married for 62 years. Grace worked at Randall Textron for many years and retired from James River (later known as Printpack) in 1989 after 23 years of dedicated service. Grace worked hard from a young age to help raise and provide for her family. Grace enjoyed spending time with her family and friends vacationing and camping. She also enjoyed her beloved Yorkshire Terriers, crocheting, and was an avid Pacers, Colts and NASCAR fan. Most of all, Grace dearly loved her large family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband Gene on September 04, 2008, her eldest daughter, Sandra (Bill) Owens on September 01, 2019, siblings Mary Babb, James Owens, Virginia Hersley and Ora Owens Jr. as well as one grandson Christopher Shane Owens.
Grace is survived by four of her five children, William (Brenda) Robbins, Wanda (Rick) Ebinger, Gary (Debbie) Robbins and Thomas (Bobette) Robbins; all of Greensburg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Scott Owens, Christine (Bower) McCullough, Brian Bower, Gina Robbins, Elisha (Robbins) Platt, David Robbins, Melinda (Owens) Payne, Joe Robbins, Ashley (Bower) Ogden and fifteen great grandchildren.
