SOUTHEASTERN IN – Great Plains Communications and its local site sponsors are reminding Southeastern Indiana residents that Great Plains parking lot hot spots are available to provide access to free public Wi-Fi.
This comes on the heels of some school corporations moving back to e-learning in an attempt to mitigate COVID-19 risks.
Parking lot hotspots can be found at the following locations:
- Liberty Park in Batesville
- Bike Park in Batesville
- St. Michael’s Church in Brookville
- Decatur County Fairgrounds
- Downtown Greensburg Farmer’s Market
- Great Plains Office in Liberty
- The Milan Branch of the Osgood Public Library
- Stone’s Family Restaurant in Millhousen
- St. John’s Lutheran Church in Napoleon
- Sunman Community Park.
“The company is happy to offer these free hotspots to help customers with access to e-learning, remote working, and more,” said Kevin McGuire, Great Plains Vice President of Operations. “We also want to acknowledge and thank the businesses who host these hotspots for their cooperation and willingness to help provide this internet access.”
Parking lots are open during daylight hours with evening availability varying by location. To access on most devices, go to settings, search for Wi-Fi options, and select “GPC Hotspot.”
