Pence and family attend Ripley County Lincoln Day Dinner

Batesville, In. — About 85 people attended the Ripley County Lincoln Day Dinner Saturday, including the mother, father and sister of the Vice President of the United States. Brother, Greg Pence was the keynote speaker for the event, he said getting the trade deal done with Mexico is needed badly.

Congressman Pence said,” My priority is constituent services, constituent services, constituent services- in that order.” He said the United States, Mexico & Canada trade Agreement or USMCA should be introduced in the house for ratification, but he said House Speaker Pelosi would not present the measure for a vote.

State representative Randy Frye, senators Jean Leising, Chip Perfect and Batesville mayor Mike Bettice also offered remarks.
