Girls high school basketball recaps from December 20-21

The following are girls high school basketball recaps from December 20-21.  There may be updates, so please check back.

Rushville was a 59-27 winner over North Decatur. 

The Lady Lions gained separation with a 14-2 second quarter.

Rushville’s Annika Marlow and Lexi Morris shared game-high point honors with 13 apiece.  Marlow also had six assists.  Teammate Sophia Dora had 10 points, five rebounds and three steals.

For the Chargers, Madelyn Bohman and Ella Kunz scored 10 and eight respectively.

East Central at the Bedford North Lawrence Tournament.

East Central lost a pair of games to top-five, Class 4A teams at the Bedford North Lawrence Tournament.

The Trojans fell to the host and fourth-ranked Lady Stars in the first round 47-40.

Josie Trable had her first double-double of the day with 20 points and 10 rebounds.  Laney Baker scored eight.  Hope Fox posted six points, 10 rebounds and three assists.

EC then lost 60-50 to top ranked Crown Point in the consolation game.  Trabel tallied 27 points and 10 rebounds.  Fox had 12 points and six dishes.

BNL went on to defeat third-ranked Noblesville in the championship 59-40.  This was after the Millers had knocked off No. 1 Crown Point in the opening round.

South Decatur lost on a last second shot at Henryville 28-27.
