The following are girls high school basketball recaps from December 17-18. There may be updates, so please check back.
Franklin County beat Oldenburg 37-23.
Josie Rolfes led the Cats with 15 points and five rebounds. Kirsten Schell scored 14 and had four assists.
Franklin County outscored the Twisters 12-5 at the line and outrebound OA by five.
(VAR) South Dearborn defeated Connersville on Senior Night 61-50.
The Knights were down 14-6 after the first quarter. SD was led in scoring by Natalie Rupp with 16, 15 by Kiersten Dixon and 14 from Emily Elliott.
(JV) The Lady Knight reserves also beat the Spartans 36-25.
Gracie Messmore had eight points for the SD JV and teammate Natalie Cantrell followed with six.
Greensburg was a 52-35 winner over South Ripley.
The Raiders got seven points from both Gracie Gunter and Rachel Meyer. Gunter had four rebounds. Meyer had four assists.
Southwestern Hanover lost 47-33 to Providence.
Emma Long posted 18 points for the Rebels.
