Garrett Charles Malachi Johnson, age 23, of Brookville, Indiana passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at his residence in Brookville.
Born October 16, 1996 in Oxford, Ohio he is the son of Derrick & Joetta (Stamper) Johnson. He was a graduate of Franklin County High School with the class of 2015.
Garrett was employed at Amazon in Hebron, Kentucky. In his leisure time he enjoyed the outdoors, kayaking, camping, fishing, soccer and playing frisbee.
Besides his parents, he leaves behind a brother, Nathan (fiancé June Allen) Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana; maternal grandparents, Denise Stamper of Connersville, Indiana, Gary & Cindy Stamper of Everton, Indiana; paternal grandparents, Terry & Hilda Johnson of Connersville, Indiana and Debbie Clark of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; nine aunts & uncles, Corbin Stamper, Christina Carr, Kelly (Derek) Chapman, Kendra (Jacob) Gilley, Morgan Stamper, Raven Belt, Vance Johnson, Michelle (Dave) Goins, Patricia Kersey as well as many cherished cousins.
David Goins will officiate the Funeral Services on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 7:00 P.M. at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Family & friends may visit from 4 until the time of the services at 7:00 P.M. at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home.
