Frye’s active duty military tax exemption bill moves to the full House

Statehouse — A bill authored by State Rep. Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) has passed the House Ways and Means Committee by a unanimous vote.

House Bill 1034 would exempt active duty military from Indiana’s income tax.

The state currently exempts the National Guard, Reserves, and military retirees.

The bill now moves on to the House floor for consideration.
