Friendship, In. — The Friendship State Bank is accepting applications for the Wilke S. and James W. Lemon Scholarship. A total of nine $1,000 scholarships will be offered to local high school students who demonstrate interest in community service.
The requirements for the scholarship are as follows:
- Posses a 2.5 or better cumulative GPA (4.0 Scale).
- Plan to attend an accredited college, university or technical school.
- Complete the scholarship application.(Opens in a new Window)
- In a 250 word or less essay, applicants will choose one community involvement activity that made the most impact on them or their community and why.
- Attend one of the following high schools:
- South Ripley
- Jac-Cen-Del
- South Dearborn
- Lawrenceburg
- Rising Sun
- Batesville
- Milan
- Switzerland County
- Madison Consolidated
