Frieda Nieman Meek, 89, of Greensburg, passed away on September 26, 2023. She was born in Greensburg, Indiana the daughter of Fred and Rose Meyer Nieman. Frieda was a 1952 graduate of Greensburg High School. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and P.E.O. On November 15, 1954, she married John Meek and together they had one son, John Kevin. Frieda worked at Union Bank and Trust.
Survivors include Son, Kevin (Julie) Meek; Grandchildren, Casey (Justin) Green, Carley (Paul) Riehle, and Scott Meek; Grandchildren, Graeme, Hudson, and Sawyer Green and Quinn, Landon and Crew Riehle. Frieda was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Great-grandson John Thomas Meek; Brother, Norman Nieman, and Sister, Dorothy Burch.
A Memorial Visitation for family and friends will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
