Freeze Warning Goes Into Effect Early Wednesday

(Southeastern IN) – A Freeze Warning will be in effect from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The National Weather Service says sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 degrees are expected overnight.

Forecasters say frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation, and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

You’re urged to take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold, such as draining in-ground sprinkler systems and covering above-ground pipes.
