(Statewide) – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources will offer a pair of Free Fishing Days at its facilities this Saturday and Sunday (June 1 and 2).
On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents do not need a fishing license or trout/salmon stamp on the state’s public waters.
All other rules such as seasons, bag, and size limits apply.
DNR says this is an excellent opportunity to learn how to fish, take your family fishing, or introduce a friend or relative to fishing.
The final Free Fishing Day on DNR properties this year will take place on September 28.
