Brookville, IN—Sheriff Peter Cates and Major Gregory Mehlbauer have announced the appointment of Franklin County’s newest sheriff’s deputy, Bryce Jenkins.
Deputy Jenkins, who is originally from Liberty Indiana, is a 2014 graduate of Union County High School. Deputy Jenkins started his law enforcement career in 2016 with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department as a jail officer. In 2017, Bryce became a police officer with the Liberty Police Department and is a graduate of the 214th Session of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
