Franklin County Schools switch to E-Learning for two days due to COVID

BROOKVILLE, IN — An increasing number of staff absences, COVID positives, and a high number of students and staff in quarantine forced Franklin County Community Schools to switch to E-Learning Thursday and Friday.

Classes will not be in session Monday because of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, which will give custodians three days to disinfect classrooms.

In a social media post, school officials say the Southeastern Career Center bus will transport students in the morning and afternoon, but students must meet the bus at Franklin County High School.
Students taking part in internships may go to their internship site but are not required to.
After-school activities will continue during the online instruction period.
