FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. — The Franklin County FFA and Franklin County High School Student Council recently hosted a drive called “Give for Gatlinburg,” to collect items for those in need in the Gatlinburg area after the devastating wild fires.
The FFA and Student Council students organized a contest among the first period classes at the high school to see which class could contribute the most items per student to the cause.
Overall, students from the high school brought in over 2000 items, and were sent with Crum Trucking to Gatlinburg.
