Brookville, IN — The Franklin County Health Department has announced there have now been 251 COVID-19 cases in Franklin County (since mid-March). Health Officials also report that 184 of those cases have recovered from the Coronavirus.
Currently, 48 cases are being actively monitored, including 15 that are hospitalized. The total of COVID related deaths in Franklin County is 19. This is an increase of 4 new deaths.

Health officials remind citizens that it is still critically important for everyone to stay home if they are sick. If you are awaiting COVID test results, stay home until you receive your results, and avoid being around other people.
It is also still important to wash your hands frequently, sanitize all frequently touched surfaces often, and wear a mask in public if social distancing is not possible.
