FRANKLIN COUNTY, IN — Accidents kept first responders in and around Franklin County busy over the weekend.
The Brookville Fire Department, Rescue 24, and Franklin County EMS were dispatched to a head-on collision on US 52 at Orschell’s Curve around 5:15 pm Sunday.
Injuries were reported but investigators say there was no entrapment.
There’s no word if whiteout conditions from Sunday’s snow showers played a role in the accident.
New Trenton firefighters were called to State Road 46 and Chappelow Hill Road in Dearborn County for an accident with injuries at 6:40 Sunday morning.
And the Blooming Grove Fire Department and Franklin County EMS were sent to an accident with injuries on the Fairfield Causeway bridge around 10:45 Saturday night.
The names of the injured in each of these accidents and their conditions have not been released.
