Franklin County Clerk Announces Early Voting Hours, Locations

(Brookville, IN) – The Franklin County Clerk’s Office is out with information about early voting.

Tuesday, October 8 is the first day that voters can cast an early General Election ballot before the absentee voter board in the Franklin County Courthouse.

Early voting hours are:

  • October 8-11 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • October 15-18 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • October 21-25 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • October 28-November 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tuesday, October 29 and Thursday, October 31 will have extended voting hours until 6:30 p.m.

Saturday voting will take place on October 26 and November 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and you can vote any of the three following locations:

  • Clerk’s Office, 459 Main Street, Brookville.
  • Ignite Church (the former Church on Fire), 1170 State Road 229, Batesville.
  • New Trenton Volunteer Fire Department, 5138 Depot Road, New Trenton.

The last day to vote early before the absentee voter board in the Clerk’s Office is Monday, November 4 at Noon.

Those who wish to vote by mail or have the traveling board come to their house may contact the Clerk’s Office for an Absentee Ballot Application.

On Election Day, Tuesday. November 5, registered Franklin County voters may cast ballots at any of the following vote centers between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.:

  • Brookville American Legion, 1290 Fairfield Avenue, Brookville.
  • Ignite Church, 1170 State Road 229, Batesville.
  • Metamora Church of God, 20146 US Highway 52, Metamora.
  • New Trenton VFD, 5138 Depot Road, New Trenton.
  • Springfield Community Church, 3101 Oxford Pike, Bath.

The deadline to register to vote is Monday, October 7 by 4 p.m. in the Clerk’s Office or Midnight if you register online at indianavoters.com.
