(Brookville, IN) – “Color Your World Through Reading” is the theme of this year’s Franklin County Public Library District (FCPLD) Summer Reading Program.
The kickoff is on June 19 at the Brookville Library from 12-3 p.m., and the program continues on June 20 from Noon to 3 at the Laurel Library.
Sign up for the Summer Reading Program, get a goodie bag and reading log, and enjoy some messy art, including tie-dye, sand art, and more.
You’re asked to bring your own white 100% cotton item for tie-dye art.
Those who meet their summer reading goals will have a chance to win prizes, including tickets to the Cincinnati Zoo, passes for skiing and tubing at Perfect North Slopes this winter, family passes for Main Event and Urban Air Adventure Park, and more.
The FCPLD Summer Reading Program is free and open to everyone of all ages.
You do not have to live in Franklin County to participate.
