Four arrested on felony drug charges during warrant service

Columbus, IN—Four people were arrested on felony drug charges Thursday evening after law enforcement officers served a search warrant at a Columbus home.  At approximately 7:30 p.m., officers from the CPD Intelligence-Led Policing Unit and the Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at 1509 Union Street. 

During a search of the residence, officers located methamphetamine, heroin, several syringes, as well as drug paraphernalia.  The persons listed below were placed under arrest on the following preliminary charges and transported to the Bartholomew County Jail.

Bobby J. Roberts, 59, of Columbus:  Dealing in Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Syringe

 

Sunshine N. Johnson, 33, of Columbus: Dealing in Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Heroin, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

 

 

 

 

Erica D. Burton, 35, of Columbus: Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Look-A-Like Substance, Visiting a Common Nuisance

 

 

 

 

 

David B. Copass, 56, of Columbus:  Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Officers from the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department and CPD Uniform Division also assisted with this investigation.
