Aurora, In. — A former Ripley County resident is fighting for his life after suffering a gunshot wound at an Indianapolis-area party.
Jon Spurlock, 22, of Aurora, was visiting his girlfriend in Indianapolis on April 15 when the two went to a party. Police say Spurlock was shot in the head by an unknown assailant.
Spurlock is listed in critical condition at an Indianapolis-area hospital.
Family members and concerned citizens have established a Gofundme page to help the family. Some Milan businesses have made donations to support the family.
