(Ripley County, IN) – Friday was the last day on the job at Ripley County EMS for Scott Huffman.
He spent nearly 20 years with the life squad, with over half of that time as Director.
Huffman and his wife Renee are relocating to Georgia, where he has accepted an EMS position.
His colleagues took to social media and called it a bittersweet day but congratulated Huffman on his “retirement from Ripley County.”
EMS personnel said the life squad wouldn’t be where it is today without Huffman’s teamwork, dedication, and tenacity at the helm.
