Batesville, In. — Former Baltimore Colt, NFL Hall of Famer, and 1963 Most Valuable Player Y. A. Tittle has died at the age of 90. No other details have been provided.
Known as “The Bald Eagle” Tittle played for the Colts, 49ers and New York Giants in his 17-year career. Tittle had a career passer rating of 73.6 on 28,339, 212 touchdowns and 221 interceptions. Late in his career he led the Giants to three division titles in four seasons.
