(Southeastern IN) – A Flood Watch has been issued for the area through 11 a.m. on Monday.
The National Weather Service says flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible, and that excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Forecasters say multiple rounds of thunderstorms will move across the watch area, which will lead to the potential for flash flooding.
People in the watch area, especially those living in areas prone to flooding, should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
You’re urged to monitor the latest forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings.
