BATESVILLE, Ind. – In accordance with a presidential proclamation, Governor Mike Pence has directed flags at state facilities to be flown at half-staff Sunday in honor of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service.
Flags should be lowered at sunrise and remain at half-staff until sunset on October 12.
Governor Pence also asks businesses and residents across the state to lower flags to half-staff to pay tribute to firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
