(Enochburg, IN) – It’s the end of an era for devotees of “Krisp Chic Chicken.”
Fireside Inn owners Dan and Becky Kinker posted on Facebook over the weekend that have made the difficult decision to close the iconic restaurant in Enochsburg so they can concentrate on other endeavors and to spend more time with family.
The restaurant served its first batch of fried chicken and all of the fixings in 1950.
The Kinkers say they’ll cease operations effective May 30.
