DECATUR COUNTY, Ind. — A home north of Millhousen was completely destroyed by a fire Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to the 911 call at 6317 South County Road 225 East, around 4:15.
When firefighters arrived flames were coming out of the roof and windows.
Fire officials say no one was in the home at the time, but a dog died in the fire.
The damage is estimated at $40,000 and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
