FFA Wildlife Habitat teams score big in regional competition

St. Leon, In. — Eleven members of the East Central High School FFA Chapter competed at the Wildlife Habitat CDE Regional Qualifier at Southeastern Purdue Agricultural Center in Butlerville. Members identified preserved animals, took a written exam, and evaluated wildlife habitats.

The team of Madison Shumate, Maddie Dawson, Alex Dudley, and Heath Doll placed 2nd and the team of James Bulach, Jacob Robbins, and Alex Newport placed 3rd. These teams will move on to the state contest on May 11th. The team of Anna Loschiavo, Joseph Miller, Emma Gutfreund, and Bella Woodyard placed 7th.
