(Greensburg, IN) – Thanks to the continued success of the annual Ag Day Breakfast, the Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce and the Decatur County Farm Bureau are excited to announce a special funding opportunity for local FFA chapters.
A grant of up to $500 is now available to support innovative agricultural education projects or initiatives.
This grant opportunity is made possible by the generosity of community partners and the enthusiasm surrounding the 2025 Ag Day Breakfast, an event that celebrates the deep-rooted agricultural heritage of Decatur County.
The breakfast brings together local industry leaders, small family farms, agribusiness professionals, and the next generation of ag leaders for a morning of inspiration, collaboration, and education.
In the spirit of supporting agricultural youth development, the Ag Day Committee has set aside a total of $500 for this grant.
The funds may be awarded to a single FFA chapter or divided among multiple chapters based on the strength and creativity of the proposals received. The committee reserves the right to award all, a portion of, or none of the available funds.
All FFA chapters within Decatur County are encouraged to apply. Proposals should clearly outline how the funds would be used to advance agricultural education, leadership development, or community engagement.
Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
The deadline to apply is September 30, 2025 at 1 p.m.
Winner(s) will be announced in November 2025.
