INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Fever fans can now take their team pride on the road with the launch of the franchise’s first specialty license plate, with proceeds supporting programs for women and girls statewide.
The plate is available through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and benefits the Fever Fund, an initiative of the Pacers Foundation that supports opportunities for women and girls in sports, education and community life.
“We’re thrilled to bring Fever fans another meaningful and fun way to represent their passion for this team,” Indiana Fever Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Amber Cox said. “Every plate purchased fuels opportunities for women and girls across Indiana through the Fever Fund, ensuring that our impact grows far beyond the court.”
The design features black lettering on a white background, the team’s “F” logo on the left, and “Fever Fund” displayed in a red banner along the bottom. Standard plates carry a “WB” prefix, short for women’s basketball, while motorcycle plates feature the prefix “EW,” for “Expect to Win.”
The specialty plate costs $40 per year, with $25 from each plate going directly to the Fever Fund. Personalized plates are available for an additional annual fee.
Drivers can purchase the plate online at myBMV.com, in person at any BMV branch, or at a BMV Connect kiosk for standard renewals. Motorists who want to switch before their renewal date can do so at a branch for an additional fee. Branch locations, hours and kiosk sites are available at IN.gov/BMV.
The Fever Fund focuses on leadership and career readiness, confidence through sports and wellness, and safety and belonging. More information about the fund and grant opportunities is available at FeverFund.org.
