FRANKLIN COUNTY, IN — For the fourth time since their adoption in July going into the 2020-2021 school year, COVID-19 restrictions in Franklin County Schools are being amended, as of Thursday, November 11.
The school board removed some restrictions this week.
Among the changes starting Thursday, masks will be optional but highly recommended; students and staff will be notified if they are a close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 and may choose to quarantine for 10 days; school buildings will be reopened to visitors and volunteers, and student field trips will be allowed.
Masks will still be required on school buses, per federal requirements.
