Aurora, IN—An incident reported on a Facebook post shared by numerous community members, that allegedly occurred at the Aurora Walmart Friday evening in regards to a possible abduction, has been investigated by the Aurora Police Department.
While officers say no criminal acts were observed or reported. The officers do agree that the activity appeared to be suspicious and the person(s) that made the post absolutely did the right thing in making law enforcement aware and alerting the general public to always be aware of your surroundings. No one was harmed, threatened or attempted to be abducted as some are suggesting.
The Aurora Police Department strongly urges anyone to call 911 immediately whenever something doesn’t seem right.
