Experts: No clear winner in Senate debate

Indianapolis, In. — Political pundits across the state say there was no clear winner in the debate between three participating Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate.

Southern Indiana businessman Mike Braun, Congressman Luke Messer and Congressman Todd Rokita spent an hour talking to voters about why they are the right choice to go to Washington D.C.

“President Trump was right,” Braun said. “We do not need more career politicians in Washington. We need guys like me that have lived it in the real world.”

Luke Messer spent his closing statement telling voters he is the clear choice to replace Democrat Joe Donnelly in the U.S. Senate.

Todd Rokita was critical of decisions made over the last two years by Messer and said he would be the candidate to trust in Washington D.C.

The Indiana primary election will be held May, 8.
