Columbus, IN — Monday, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s K9 Diesel received a necropsy exam by Purdue University Animal Disease and Diagnostic Lab. Preliminary findings indicate that the injuries which caused Diesel’s death are consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with any information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, regarding this incident which occurred between 4 pm – 5 pm on November 14, near the I-65 62-mile marker, please contact:
