Tour of Dr. John C Hicks Office

August 18, 2018

Mark your calendar for an event at the Cental House on August 18th.  Join us for a tour of Dr. John C. Hicks office and medical herb garden from 1pm-4pm.  He treated the people of the Napoleon area and was appointed by Ripley County to treat the poor.  See what a visit to the doctor was like in the 1860’s and what a chicken or pig could buy.  The Central House is a non-profit organization.  The event is free, but donations for upkeep are welcome.  For more information, call Victor Sarringhaus at 812-621-7826.
