Deadline for Applications for Milan Town Marshal

The town of Milan is seeking applicants for the position of Town Marshal. To be eligible for the position the applicant must:

  1. Be a citizen of the United States
  2. Be at least 21 years of age
  3. Be willing to reside within Ripley County or an adjoining county if hired
  4. Be physically fit with no history of mental illness
  5. Possess a valid Indiana Driver’s License
  6. Have successfully completed or be able to complete within 12 months of employment as Town Marshal, the basic requirements as established by the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board
  7. Possess basic computer skills
  8. Possess necessary management skills required to manage a department consisting of three full time officers and a reserve officer corps.

Interested applicants must submit their resume’ to the Clerk Treasurer’s Office, Town of Milan located at 211 W Carr St, PO Box 86, Milan, IN 47031 by the end of business Friday, August 24, 2018.
