The Batesville Lions Club will be holding its annual Coach Willis Dunker Memorial Golf Scramble on Saturday, September 29 at the Cricket Ridge Golf Course, rain or shine. There are sill opening for players. Cost is $55 ($50 by September 1) per person and includes 18 holes of golf, a chicken dinner, door prizes for everyone, a goodie bag for each golfer, on course “bests” and cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. All proceeds go to programs for service to our local communities such as the summer baseball and softball programs, Boys and Girls State sponsorships, nursing scholarships, etc. We are also looking for hole sponsorships at $100 each.
