Eugene Henry Fields, 81, of Dillsboro passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Woodland Hills Care Center at Lawrenceburg. Eugene was born Tuesday, October 27, 1936 in Harrison, Ohio the son of Henry and Edna (Welsh) Fields. He worked for Hodges Wheel Weights, Inc. in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He loved reading books, watching wrestling on Saturday mornings and listening to country music. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Rockvale, Tennessee.
Eugene is survived by sons: Bill (Luzvisminda) Fields of Imperial, Missouri, David Fields of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, daughter Debra McCauley of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, sisters: Dorothy Cook of Harrison, Ohio, Vera Benning of Dillsboro and two grandchildren. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother William (Bill) Fields.
