Greensburg, In. — Officials from Enhanced Telecommunications Corporation are warning customers about a recent scam attempt.
Scammers contacted a customer, with their account number, about an outstanding bill. Because the call seemed legitimate the customer provided payment information to the scammer.
Officials say if you are contacted by someone from ETC verify their identity before providing any information. Call your local ETC office or even stop in.
