Elmer Eugene Land, of Greendale, Indiana, passed away August 3, 2017 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
He was born September 5, 1957 in Dearborn County, IN, son of the late Elmer Francis Land and Anna Rosetta Land
Elmer enjoyed playing sports, especially baseball and basketball. He liked to exercise and lift weights He liked to fish, work cross word puzzles, listen to music, collect angels, and walk. Elmer loved to help people. He had a heart of gold and spent a lot of time being the”Taxi Driver” for friends. Spending time with his friends and family was his most favorite thing to do. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are siblings; Michael (Nancy) Land of Aurora, IN, Pamela (Tim) Chipman of Aurora, IN, Sandra Lee (Chris) Houze of Aurora, IN; several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by Father, Elmer Francis Land, Mother, Anna Rosetta Land and Great Niece, Natalie Chipman.
Friends will be received Friday, August 11, 2017, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana. Services will be held at 4:00pm Friday following visitation, with Pastor Tommy Beatley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Wilmington Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
