(Friendship, IN) – An electrical short in lighting is being blamed for touching off a vendor booth fire on the 5900 block of Friendship Main Street (State Road 62) that occurred Sunday morning around 2:50.
The booth was set up for the Friendship Flea Market.
Firefighters credit the quick thinking of people who used extinguishers to contain the fire and preventing it from getting out of control.
There was significant damage to the booth’s contents, but there were no injuries reported.
