(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Police Department fielded a number of calls late Saturday morning about a strong odor in the city.
Callers described it as being similar to rotten eggs, sulfur, manure or chemicals.
After a check of the area that stretched into Saturday afternoon, the Batesville Gas Utility did not locate any leaks.
