East Central’s Casey McQueen has signed a National Letter of Intent to play football for Rose-Hulman where he will also major in civil engineering.
When Casey was asked why he chose Rose-Hulman he recalled the first time hearing about it through one of his dad’s friends and stated, “When I heard him talk about it, I knew I had to go.”
Casey attended football camp there this past summer and he instantly felt right at home. He said, “The campus is awesome, the people there are very helpful and the overall environment is great!”
Casey added sports will only take him so far and that it is important to him to receive a good education and obtain a degree.
“To me, Rose is the perfect place to get a good education and I’m honored to be able to play football for another four years,” Casey remarked.
