East Central will take the wraps off its newly-installed turf at its soccer pitch.
EC is the first high school in Southeastern Indiana to install a soccer-specific artificial turf field.
The Trojan boys team will be the first to use it when they host the Oldenburg Academy Twisters on Saturday.
The East Central girls team’s first match on the turfed pitch will be Thursday, August 21 when they welcome in the defending Class 2A state champion Lawrenceburg Tigers.
